The 25-year-old Nigerian has signed a long-term contract with the Bundesliga side that will keep him at the club until June 2031, marking a new chapter in his career after an impressive spell in Belgium.
Onyedika joined Club Brugge from Danish outfit FC Midtjylland in 2022 and quickly became one of the club's most dependable players. During his four seasons with the Belgian champions, he helped the team win two Belgian Pro League titles while making 24 appearances in the UEFA Champions League.

Speaking after completing the transfer, Frankfurt's sporting director, Markus Krösche, praised the midfielder's qualities and expressed confidence in his future.
> "Raphael Onyedika has impressed us with his physical strength, tactical intelligence, and remarkable consistency. At just 25, he still has plenty of room to develop, and we believe he will play a key role in our squad."
Onyedika's consistent performances at club level also earned him a place in Nigeria's senior national team in 2022. Since then, he has become a regular for the Super Eagles, making 26 appearances and scoring three goals.

The midfielder is expected to add strength and stability to Frankfurt's midfield as the club prepares for the new campaign.
He could make his competitive debut in the first round of the DFB-Pokal against St. Tönis on August 21 before Frankfurt open their Bundesliga season with an away clash against Union Berlin on August 29.
