International Widows’ Day 2026: Renewed Call for Protection, Empowerment of Widows

As the world marks International Widows’ Day 2026 today, stakeholders across Nigeria have renewed calls for stronger policies and support systems to protect widows from discrimination, economic hardship, and harmful traditional practices.
