The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the House of Representatives for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Hon. Sir Charles Uchenna Okafor, (Wiper, Omeluora Igbo), and his amiable wife, Lady Ogechukwu Okafor, PhD (Odibeze Igbo), joined family members and other guests in Bordeaux, France, to celebrate the wedding of their niece, Chiagozie Ezennia, to her British husband, Adams. The colourful ceremony, held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, drew relatives, friends, and well-wishers from different parts of the world, who gathered to witness the couple exchange marriage vows and celebrate the beginning of their lifelong journey together. Chiagozie is the daughter of Mrs. Adaeze Ezennia, the younger sister of Hon. Okafor, who resides in the United Kingdom with her family. Beyond the wedding celebration, the occasion also served as a reunion for members of the extended Okafor family, providing an opportunity to reconnect, strengthen family bonds, and create lasting memories. Addressing the newlyweds, Hon.
