FIFA has announced the officiating team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, with experienced Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić appointed to take charge of the title decider.
Vinčić will be assisted by fellow Slovenians Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič, while Adham Makhadmeh of Jordan has been named as the fourth official. Mohammad Alkalaf, also from Jordan, will serve as the reserve assistant referee.
The 46-year-old Vinčić is one of Europe's most respected referees, having officiated major UEFA competitions, including the 2024 UEFA Champions League final. The World Cup final will be another landmark in his distinguished international career.
