OFFICIAL: Marc Cucurella joins Real Madrid!
Real Madrid have completed the signing of Spain international Marc Cucurella from Chelsea in a deal worth £52 million.
The left-back arrives at the Santiago Bernabeu after establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most reliable defenders and is expected to play a key role under new manager Jose Mourinho.
Cucurella becomes one of several major additions as Madrid continue rebuilding their squad following a disappointing season that ended without silverware.
The Spaniard joins fellow new arrivals Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate as Los Blancos look to return to the top of Spanish and European football.
